Namita Moolani Mehra in  was born in Nigeria, grew up in the United Kingdom and India. She studied in Chicago, U.S.A. and work in New York.

 She is a founder of Indian Spicebox, mum and an author. She is passionate about bringing spice into children’s lives. She runs classes for both adults and children in Singapore where she lives
